THE FULL STORY

Robinson Bustos was born to a poor family in Santiago, Chile. Through his childhood he played with the toys his family could afford to give him. He didn't have access to the resources that most kids had therefore he had to make due with what he had. This produced a wild imagination that allowed him to make stories with what little he had. Robinson and his mother left his home country of Chile in 2007, it was a brand new world filled with challenges they had to endure. They bounced from room to room in New York as they tried to find their way through this new life of chaos. Through chaos he became costumed to the "No's" of life.

This taught him to get around obstacles at a young age and accept what you get and make do with what you got. This made him very resourceful and is one of his major traits to this day.

Living in this manner made him very prone to daydreaming; stories, cars, and places he could never go to, places that only lived in his imagination. This escapism haunted him in school as he couldn’t stand the normal way of learning. This made him hunt for his own information eventually finding video editing. He put together thousands of photos to make animations with the few toys they could afford. Creating stories that would only grow bigger as time went on.

After dropping out of Manhattanvile, out of loss of interest, he turned to working at a go kart track and eventually Hertz rentals. He spent two years working there, growing more and more depressed. His only pass time was thinking of visuals and stories. Creating music videos in his head as he cleaned cars in a windowless garage. This depression and isolation pushed him to go to Full Sail where he finally could learn his own way. This unlocked his full creativity for visual storytelling. Spear headed to his newly found goal and passion, Directing story driven content. That’s where he lives now, in his head, and out of it.
